The Landmark London is to launch its new £4m spa this summer.

Situated in Marylebone, the spa will be a contemporary wellness destination aimed at hotel guests and a day-spa audience.

It will offer enhanced thermal experiences and a gym equipped with Onyx equipment from Matrix Fitness.

The thermal suite will include a 34˚C vitality pool with swan-neck hydrotherapy jets, an aromatic steam room, Finnish sauna, ice fountain, heated marble loungers supplied by Fabio Alemanno and multi-sensory showers.

Alongside this, there will be five new treatment rooms, a relaxation zone and retail gallery.

“This investment marks a deliberate shift in how we position wellness at The Landmark London. We're not simply enhancing the guest experience but creating a spa that stands as a destination in its own right.”

“Our ambition is to establish an offering that combines design, high-performance treatments and a more holistic approach to wellbeing in a way that reflects the evolving expectations of the luxury wellness market,” said spa manager Hida Shulet.

Spa consultant Paula Perkins has overseen the project since its inception. Speaking exclusively to European Spa about the concept, she said: “The intention was to elevate the spa so it seamlessly aligned with the sophistication of the Landmark’s wider property. Additional space has been created, allowing treatment rooms to be positioned in a quieter, more serene location.

“The arrival journey has been thoughtfully enhanced and the new thermal suite was a critical focus. It has an architecturally striking ceiling designed to create a sense of immersion and visual elevation.”

Ancient healing meets evidence-based technologies

The treatment offering comes from QMS Medicosmetics, Ashmira Botanica and Oskia.

“The overarching treatment concept blends British and Thai heritage, expressed through curated design touches and subtle cultural references throughout the project,” said Perkins.

“The chosen brands have each collaborated to create bespoke treatments, many of which are exclusive to the Landmark.

LEC treatment beds featuring grounding technology will further enhance relaxation, supporting deeper rest and nervous‑system regulation.”

The spa is also introducing its first-ever dedicated collection of family and junior treatments.

"The intention was to elevate the spa so it seamlessly aligned with the sophistication of the Landmark’s wider property. Additional space has been created, allowing treatment rooms to be positioned in a quieter, more serene location.

The spa’s interiors, by Alex Kravetz Design, will incorporate natural materials, muted tones and soft-glow lighting.

“We have provided engineering consultancy design services for the new vitality pool and thermal cabins, moving on to supply and install at the Spa at the Landmark London,”  said Barr + Wray‘s spa design and sales manager, Cheryl Anderson.

“We assisted Alex Kravetz with his vision and concept design for the new features and devised a brand new filtration system for the vitality pool.”

Guests also have the option to further personalise their experience with bespoke blends from Camellia’s Tea house.

There will be a nutritional menu developed with Oskia to promote skin health from within. In the fitness suite, guests will have access to a Visbody AI‑powered 3D body scanner assessment.
