Situated in the historic Klotild Palace, the new St Regis Budapest has opened complete with a St Regis Spa.

At 306sqm, the St Regis Spa features an indoor pool, a traditional hammam, Finnish sauna, experience showers and three dedicated treatment rooms.

The spa has partnered with Sothys and Omorovicza to deliver its treatment menu.

On the sixth floor there is a fitness studio with a striking glass roof. The Celebration Bar has been designed as a continuation of the relaxation experience.

The Klotild Palace is an architectural emblem of the Austro-Hungarian golden age and one of Budapest’s most distinguished architectural landmarks. The building’s defining feature – a 48m tower – has been revived as part of the refurbishment.

“The St. Regis Spa offers a serene escape within the heart of Budapest, where guests can pause, unwind and experience a moment of indulgence while still feeling connected to the beauty and energy of the city.”

Honouring the heritage of Klotild Palace

The spa pays homage to the original Iridium Room at the St Regis New York, a private space where aristocrats once gathered, while simultaneously reflecting Budapest’s unique bathing culture and history.

Interior design is by 4BI & Associates, a French-based interior design and architectural firm. Marriot’s Global Design team consulted on the project.

The St Regis Spa menu

The spa menu features a series of elevated bespoke spa rituals that merge scientific innovation with the rich Hungarian bathing heritage.

Experiences by Omorvicza include the Elixir Power Facial, Mineral Wave Rotual and six bespoke massage experiences including the Hungarian Vitality massage, rooted in the revitalising traditions of Hungarian spa therapies.

Facial treatments by Sothys include the Glow Revival and Profound Hydration.

“Budapest is the home of Omorovicza, so we are excited to launch at one of the most decadent hotels in Hungary. We have been part of the pre-opening journey and crafted a special treatment menu in collaboration with the hotel."

Harrison Gregory

General manager UK, EMEA & APAC, Omorovicza

A dedicated collection of treatments on the menu pay homage to Caroline Aster. Commonly know only as Mrs Astor, she was the curator of the upper echelons of New York society during the latter half of the 19th century.

As matriarch of one of New York City’s great dynasties, Caroline Aster was a symbol of luxury, opulence and taste.

In honour of her passion for innovation, refinement and vibrancy, the Budapest spa offers three unique rituals – Illuminate and Lift in partnership with Sothys, Secrets of the Rose and the Celebration Ritual for two.
