New spa and wellness director appointed at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino in Greece

Ellie Shrimpton-Ring has been appointed as the spa and wellness director at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino in Greece.

Her role will include managing and enhancing the spa’s reputation for excellence, and keeping up with industry trends.

She will also ensure that guest satisfaction is at the forefront of everything that the team does.

Shrimpton-Ring will work to promote the spa as a wellness journey that guests can utilise throughout their stay.

She plans to do this with the spa’s Inner Strength Outer Strength Journeys, which are curated to renew energy and increase strength both physically and mentally

As a manager, she says she places a strong emphasis on supporting the team to express their passion for wellness.

She also intends to highlight each individuals’ strengths to continue their development within the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

Vision for the future

“My vision is for Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino to become the ultimate luxury wellbeing destination,” said Shrimpton-Ring. “Allowing guests to immerse themselves in a personalised journey.

“I aim to lead and motivate the team to embrace the vision, strive for excellence and inspire guests to encompass wellness into their lifestyle.”

A stellar career

Shrimpton-Ring has worked in the wellness industry for ten years starting her career at the Grove Country House Hotel in Hertfordshire.

After three years at ESPA Life at Corinthia as senior therapist, she joined the pre-opening team at Fairmont Windsor Park as head of spa therapy.

Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, she worked as spa therapy manager before advancing to spa operations manager at Coworth Park, part of the Dorchester Collection.
