Hyatt Regency has opened Spa Soul at its new property in Montenegro. Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort is in the heart of the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bay of Kotor.

The 205 guest room property is the first Hyatt hotel in the country and offers eco-consciously designed rooms for guests.

Set against impressive cliffs and overlooking the Adriatic Sea, the contemporary design boasts natural hues and subtle blue design accents that reflect the natural surroundings.

For enhanced wellbeing, guests have access to a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a dedicated space for yoga and Pilates, and expansive spa facilities.

The spa was conceived by Asuman Helvacioglu, co-founder of Spa Soul, and is managed under the Spa Soul brand.

The 690sqm spa was designed by Slobodan Krivokapić, CEO and architect at Lineare Design. It features seven treatment rooms, one of which is a double treatment room. There is also an indoor pool with stunning mountain and bay views plus a sauna. Additionally, there is one hammam, said to be the first Turkish hammam in Montenegro.

The treatment menu features unique therapies from the product houses Charme D’Orient Paris and Forlle’d. Hammam treatments are a particular specialty. The Pure Hammam treatment features a soft steam and scrub with black soap and kassa, a purifying wrap and deep hydration with shea butter.

Staff uniforms have been custom made and towels supplied by DK Textile in Turkey. Gharieni supplied the treatment beds, and the gym has been equipped by Technogym.
