Grown Alchemist appoints new global head of spa

Helen Cain, a former Virgin performance manager and OTO Wellbeing global spa director, has taken up a new role with the innovative Australian skincare brand

Helen Cain has joined luxury brand Grown Alchemist as global head of spa.

Cain brings with her more than a 20 years of industry experience, having worked at Virgin Atlantic for 14 years as an in-flight beauty therapist in Upper Class as well as a trainer and performance manager.

Cain has was also group spa manager for Virgin Limited Edition and UK sales director and general manager, Europe. Her spa operational experience includes having been group spa director at Harbour Hotel Group.

For the past four years she was global spa director at OTO Wellbeing, launching the spa arm of the CBD-based business.

Expanding Grown Alchemist’s spa presence

Cain will be responsible for growing and nurturing Grown Alchemist’s spa business globally.

The brand’s portfolio of spa and hotel partnerships already includes Nobu, Lifehouse Spa, Goodwood, Montcalm East and OneSpaWorld as well as a brand collaboration with global IV providers, Reviv.

Grown Alchemist has refreshed its product formulations, with improved claims and clinical trials, to enhance treatment menus globally.

A BCorp certification is being worked towards, and Cain will be focusing on treatments and offerings that reflect this sustainable ethos.

Partnership with Equinox

Earlier this year, Grown Alchemist announced a new partnership with global fitness brand Equinox.

Equinox fitness clubs now feature the brand’s longevity-focused biotech beauty amenities in its facilities.

As part of the gradual phased rollout programme, Grown Alchemist’s spa treatment services will be offered in select Equinox spas, starting in Kingston Upon Thames near London this summer.
