Bokeh by Montcalm East in east London has introduced facials and massage treatments from skincare brand Grown Alchemist to its treatment menu.

Each treatment offered as part of the new menu involves a combination of signature techniques including neurolymphatic stimulation, an anti-pollution mist infusion and cryotherapy.

Grown Alchemist formulates products based around cellular renewal and nutrient metabolisation, designed to combat the impacts of urban living and busy, modern lifestyles.

Bokeh will offer Grown Alchemist’s facials in conjunction with REVIV bespoke IV drip therapy.

IV therapy to support detoxification

The IV infusion contains glutathione and vitamin C as well as saline, amino acids and nutrients. It is designed to aid hydration and support detoxification of free radicals that accumulate in the body.

Glutathione acts as the master antioxidant alongside vitamin C, aiding cellular repair. Combined with energising massage movements, the skin’s natural defence barrier is strengthened, free radicals and pollutants are neutralised and fine lines are smoothed.

IV vitamin therapy is a growing market within spas – Allied Market Research states the global IV therapy market was worth £19 billion in 2020 and is projected to reach £33 billion by 2030.

“We are thrilled to add Grown Alchemist’s innovative formulas to our treatment menu. Their holistic scientific approach represents a new evolution in skincare."

Spa manager, Bokeh by Montcalm East

“Grown Alchemist isn’t just about how the skin looks, it’s about skin health and how it feels, which goes hand in hand with Reviv. Now we can offer skincare to heal skin from the outside in, and IV infusions to heal from the inside out,” says Eleanor Jeffrey, spa manager at Bokeh by Montcalm East.

“It feels as if beauty, spa and aesthetics are coming together quite quickly – there’s certainly a demand for more than ‘just’ a facial from our clients – but it needs to be done in the right way.

“We’ve partnered with Grown Alchemist and Reviv to ensure what we’re offering is always safe and regulated.”

In the first instance, Bokeh will offer Reviv IV therapy on select days, bookable in advance online. “Once we’ve got the word out to guests and regulars, we will look to increase the offering,” says Jeffrey.

In time, Montcalm East hopes to offer Reviv in-room, via its wellness concierge service.

REVIV’s first clinic opened ten years ago in Miami, and the brand now has more than 100 clinics in 47 countries.
