Aradhana Khowala appointed to GWI Board of Advisors

CEO of Aptamind Partners will help to elevate the Global Wellness Institute's impact within the wellness industry

The Global Wellness Institute (GWI) has appointed Aradhana Khowala to its Board of Advisors.

A global leader in hospitality, tourism and gender dynamics, Khowala is the CEO of Aptamind Partners, a private client advisory firm that helps global leaders in governments, emerging destinations and the public and private sectors understand the impact of tourism as a change agent.

Khowala’s career has spanned 24 years, five continents and more than 75 countries. Her insights and expertise will help the GWI elevate the impact it has within the $5.6 trillion wellness industry.

A quarter of a century in wellness

Previously, Khowala served as managing director of tourism for Saudi Arabia’s NEOM land of the future project.

She currently chairs the Group Advisory Board of Red Sea Global and provides strategic guidance for Amaala, the largest integrated wellness destination in Saudi Arabia.

Featured among the 100 most powerful people in global hospitality, as well as the most inspirational leaders in the Middle East for three years in a row, Khowala was also named one of the 25 most influential women in hospitality by the International Hospitality Institute.

Annual Wellness Real Estate & Communities Symposium

The Global Wellness Summit will host its 3rd Annual Wellness Real Estate & Communities Symposium on May 14 in New York City.

Wellness real estate has been the fastest-growing of all 11 wellness sectors – before, during and after the pandemic.

The conference will bring together leaders in real estate, investment, architecture, design, public policy, technology, medicine and sustainability.

Delegates can join in person at at JPMorgan Chase headquarters in Manhattan – and virtually – to explore the wellness trends that are redefining living and working spaces.

Presentations will tackle topics from the speed at which new technologies are creating healthier buildings to how wellness design is transforming healthcare.

Expert speakers include ‘Godmother of Wellness’ Deborah Szekely, founder of Rancho la Puerta.

Szekely will discuss how living within a community that focuses on wellness can lead to positive longevity outcomes with GWI CEO, Susie Ellis.
