Wellness operator Jayasom to debut integrative health resort at Amaala

Jayasom Wellness Resort at Amaala is the latest project to be announced for Red Sea Global’s new wellness destination in Saudi Arabia.

Jayasom will create an integrative, multi-generational health offering for Amaala, the ambitious tourism destinations being developed by Red Sea Global (RSG).

Situated in Triple Bay, Jayasom is the second wellness operator confirmed to be working with Amaala, after Clinique La Prairie.

An all-encompassing approach to wellness

The resort will comprise of a family wellness offering alongside an adults-only zone. All facilities will be designed to immerse guests in a journey of personal transformation.

There will be 7,000sqm dedicated to holistic health, fitness, physiotherapy, nutrition, aesthetic beauty and spa.

About Jayasom Wellness Resort

Based around an all-encompassing approach to health and wellness, the state-of the-art spa will respect the two offerings of the resort, with a serene adults-only space and a more energetic family experience.

Designed to offer a cocoon-type environment, the spa will be integrated within a horseshoe shaped natural land formation.

Curated stays will draw together western evidence-based practices with holistic remedies and local wisdom. Guest journeys will be delivered as retreat experiences by an expert team of highly trained therapists including medically certified specialists.

Self-healing and discovery

As well as tailor-made movement-based programmes Jayasom Wellness Resort will offer minimally invasive beauty procedures.

There will be spaces within the resort dedicated to contemplation, self-healing and self-discovery, as well as wellness trails, yoga pavilions and labyrinths designed to offer a sense of discovery.

Amaala unvelied

The Amaala development will be powered entirely by renewable energy and, when complete, the 4,155sqkm site will have eight resorts, 200 residential units and a marina.

The development targets a 30% net conservation benefit by 2040, which will be achieved by the expansion of key natural habitats to encourage biodiversity to flourish.

The first development phase of Amaala expects to welcome its first guests in 2024.

Set in the Prince Mohammad bin Salman Natural Reserve along Saudi Arabia’s north-western coast, Amaala will be the first global integrated family wellness destination inspired by arts, wellness and the purity of the Red Sea.
