Fairmont Spa & Wellness has opened at the new Fairmont Golden Prague hotel.

Located at the gate of the renowned Parizska Boulevard, in the Unesco-listed Old Town, the 320-room hotel is the brand’s first in the Czech Republic.

The 1,400sqm Fairmont Spa & Wellness includes Prague’s only indoor to outdoor pool. Additional facilities include a relaxation lounge and a private landscaped spa garden with an outdoor hot tub.

The hotel’s L-shaped pool fuses indoor and outdoor spaces to allow guests to swim in all seasons.

Wet spa facilities include four saunas and a shared steam room, a hammam, ice fountain and experience showers.

There is also a Technogym-equipped fitness centre. Spa cuisine is served in Tilia Garden Café.

“I envision Fairmont Spa & Wellness as a collaborative environment where each team member is empowered to deliver exceptional service, with a strong focus on communication and alignment across all levels."

Rüya Karagöz

Spa manager at Fairmont Golden Prague

“By fostering close partnerships with sales and marketing, my aim is to enhance visibility, drive business growth and exceed guest expectations,” adds Karagöz.

” I am passionate about creating a unique spa experience from the ground up, bringing together diverse experiences to build something innovative and impactful.”

Inside Fairmont Spa & Wellness

The spa has five treatment rooms, some of which have access to a secluded terrace. The menu combines traditional and modern techniques and uses Kerstin Florian for holistic rituals and Dr. Barbara Sturm for facials.

Both brands have been selected for their philosophy of providing exclusive, results-oriented treatments that, wherever possible, prioritise environmental responsibility.

Fairmont’s internal spa consultants collaborated on the products and treatment menu.

About Fairmont Golden Prague

An example of eastern European brutalist architecture, the hotel first opened in 1974. Fairmont has redesigned the historic building to include a collection of Czech art and Bohemian glass.

With a focus on preserving Czech culture, this project includes restored original arts and furniture elements as well as site-specific art installations.

In the lobby, Coocoo’s Nest – named after the famous film One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest from Czech-American Miloš Forman – serves as a social hub.

“Fairmont Golden Prague is a significant milestone for us as we continue to grow our presence in Europe,” says Omer Acar, CEO at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.

“Prague is a city with an incredible story to tell, and we’re honoured to play a part in preserving its heritage.”
