Kerstin Florian acquired by KFI Spa Management

Luxury spa and skincare brand Kerstin Florian has been acquired by its Swedish distributor, KFI Spa Management. 

The acquisition follows a 30-year partnership during which the companies distributed products across Europe and Sweden and developed the brand’s spa and lifestyle concept. 

Kerstin Florian said it will continue to offer its “unparalleled” quality and service, with US operations remaining unchanged.

The company will be headed up by KFI owner and CEO Helena Carlsson, who has many years of experience in spa management, education and therapy, and will drive the brand’s growth, operational efficiency and innovation in the spa sector. 

“It’s a great honour that I’m now able to develop the company with products and treatments while staying true to its heritage, values and brand cornerstones,” she told European Spa. 

“The entire industry has incredible growth potential and the Kerstin Florian brand is among the leaders.”

Brand founder Kerstin Florian told European Spa: “I feel very happy that KFI Spa Management and its CEO Helena Carlsson are taking over the company. We’ve worked closely to develop the spa concept since 1989. It feels very secure to hand the reins over to her knowing that they will carry on my life’s work.”
