art’otel London Battersea Power Station, which officially opened on February 21, has now revealed its new spa.

Part of the first UK opening for the art’otel brand, the spa facilities include a sauna, steam room, manicure and pedicure station, plus a calming relaxation room.

The spa offers treatments by sustainable skincare brand Proverb in two treatment rooms – one single and one for couples – as well as Pinks Boutique organic certified products.

A London icon

A striking rooftop pool by the iconic Power Station chimneys on the 16th floor completes the spa and wellness offer. Available year-round, the heated infinity pool and a hot tub offer views of the restored Battersea Power Station chimneys and panoramic vistas of London.

Digital bookings

A Technogym-equipped gym is complemented by weights, mats and Pilates equipment, and guests will be able to customise their stay with the Wonderpass app, enabling then to digitally check in and out, make spa, pool and restaurant bookings, plus access in-room dining and a 24/7 live chat.

Rituals with a twist

Specially curated for art’otel, Proverb’s menu of indulgent treatments use vegan, organic and natural ingredients.

Proverb treatments range from massages and facials to full body ritual experiences, all with a playful art’otel twist.

Each is designated by a name celebrating ‘the things that really matter’ – love, nature, family, health, time, connectivity and soul.

The 2.5-hour art’otel Experience includes a decadent foot ritual, full body exfoliation and a power massage.

For guests who are short on time or looking for an addition to their treatment, art’otel Minis include a ten-minute Business Treatment carpal tunnel hand massage and a stress relieving foot soak.

Bold and colourful aesthetic

The 164-bedroom hotel is located within Battersea Roof Gardens, a new building designed by Foster + Partners, which forms a key part of the new Electric Boulevard pedestrianised high street.

An immersive world of art, it has a bold, colourful aesthetic and offers a one-of-a-kind hotel experience that fuses art, design and hospitality.

In addition to its wellness offering, art’otel is home to JOIA restaurant, headed up by Michelin-starred Portuguese chef Henrique Sá Pessoa.

art’otel London Battersea Power Station will be joined by art’otel London Hoxton in early 2024.
