Technogym has launched a new app with an in-built revenue-sharing model for health and fitness clubs.

Launched in tandem with the 6.0 version of the Mywellness platform, the app is designed to help businesses meet  increased demand for digital fitness concepts.

Each day, the Technogym app suggests a workout based on the individual’s goal and combines different components of warm-up, cardio, strength and recovery.

Every part of the workout is guided by an AI-powered digital trainer called Technogym Coach, which can also provide guests with workouts called ‘Precision Programmes’ that are tailored to match personal goals, time and the available equipment.

The app is said to be ideal for those operators who don’t have the integrated Mywellness platform, but would like their guests to have an on-demand library of videoed training sessions.

The in-built revenue-sharing model means that members can access a promotional rate for premium services, with  businesses receiving a portion of the subscription paid by their members.

Launched alongside the App, Technogym’s Mywellness 6.0 is an open CRM software platform that enables fitness clubs to both improve members experience and accelerate attraction, retention and secondary spend. The new Mywellness app also adds the possibility for operators to leverage a ‘future fitness hybrid’ model, by selling services such as personal training sessions and classes to members at home in a pay-per-use or subscription mode.

In related news, Giovanni Simoni has become the new MD of Technogym UK, succeeding Steve Barton, who held the post for the previous five years.
