Gharieni Group has launched its first robotic technology, designed specifically for the wellness industry.

The company’s robotic full-body recovery station, called Wellness Cobot Generation, is aimed at spas, fitness clubs and wellness environments.

The technology blends precision robotics with intuitive software to deliver a fully automated deep-tissue massage treatment. It can also be used for muscle recovery and soreness relief.

The new venture, Cobotics Innovations by Gharieni Group, is designed to support therapists, not replace them, giving them tools that enhance precision.

Robotic wellness technology

Under the leadership of CEO Jens Schramm, Cobotics Innovations will explore the intersection between technology and wellbeing. Its focus will be on usability, adaptability and real-world impact.

Wellness Cobot Generation is the company’s first innovation. As a new category in robotic technology, it was launched at the FIBO trade show in Germany.

Designed to offer operational flexibility, the system is said to maximise room utilisation, enhance treatment scalability and create a wellness experience with strong commercial potential.

“With Cobiotics Innovations, we are creating a new layer within the wellness ecosystem. Our goal is not to replace therapists, but to empower them, giving them tools that enhance precision and open the door to entirely new treatment concepts.”

Cobotics Innovations is supported by a dedicated in-house software and development team, combining German engineering expertise with industry knowledge to create collaborative technologies tailored to real-world wellness environments.

The touchless trend

European Spa identified touchless therapy as a growing trend in our 2025 Platinum Resource.

Touchless therapies can help to optimise treatment room utilisation and relieve pressure on therapists, while helping operators manage customer flow.

We are increasingly seeing touchless technologies used to augment menu offerings and cater for guests’ increasingly diverse wellness tastes.
