Dior Spa debuts at Hôtel Du Cap-Eden-Roc

Dior has launched a wellness retreat in the iconic Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France.

Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc is a grande dame of the Riviera that over 150 years has hosted glitterati from F. Scott Fitzgerald to Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway to Clint Eastwood, as well as Liz Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and the Kennedy family.

Part of The Oetker Collection, the hotel is set on nine hectares of private grounds, which have inspired the new Dior Spa Eden-Roc.

A shared authenticity

Dior Spa Eden-Roc opened in early April and is the latest offering from Dior’s new spa concept, which premiered in 2021 at the Cheval Blanc hotel in Paris.

United by a shared vision of discreet luxury, the two brands are celebrating long-standing ties at Eden-Roc, having collaborated previous on Dior’s advertising campaigns.

Dior has already celebrated Eden-Roc as a special destination by dedicating a perfume to it.

Rooms designed as a sensory haven

In the shade of the hotel’s immense Aleppo pines, the 400sqm Dior Spa offers three individual treatment rooms and one double space, and employs 12 therapists.

There is an onyx affusion shower room, where wellbeing experts will provide hydrotherapy treatments using different jets.

There is also an ice fountain, a sauna, a hammam and a dedicated Iyashi Dôme treatment room that offers infra-therapy.

A boutique sells Collection Privée Christian Dior perfumes, including the Eden-Roc fragrance, as well as Dior’s skincare and beauty.

Signature treatments designed by Dior

Guests can also experience four Dioriginel Rituals that borrow from the surrounding elements and take both inspiration and ingredients from the flower garden.

The four new customisable signature rituals are inspired by the rocks, sea, garden and sun.

So each guest can fully enjoy moments of wellbeing, these rituals are being made available outdoors. A gazebo has been transformed into a double treatment room while a cabana has become a cosy treatment cocoon for one.

The two-hour Escale à Eden-Roc Ritual aims to rebalance and harmonise energy flow during a massage that uses semi-precious stones.

The Roc Affusion Ritual is a 90-minute hydrotherapy treatment, using a tailor-made sequence of water jets, beneficial for the muscles and drainage.

There are also six holistic wellness bouquets — treatments involving a suite of individualised protocols.

Exclusive for Eden-Roc and customised for each guest, the journeys focus on a distinct theme – relaxation, immunity, detox, reverse aging, hormonal balance and Dior homme for men.

Wellness bouquets

Available as three, seven, 10 or 14-day courses, the holistic wellness bouquets combine manual treatments in the spa experience space and treatment rooms, with a technology-focused session using the Dior Skin Light LED Mask and the Dior Micro-Abrasion tool.

Each bouquet also offers sports sessions and consultations with nutrition and wellbeing experts.

The quintessence of the Dior philosoph , these bouquets have been designed to revive, rebalance energy flow, and regain harmony.

Talking exclusively to European Spa, Valérie Dalmayrac, spa director at Dior Spa Eden-Roc, said of the spa offering: “Bespoke spa treatments have been designed around flowers and nature, that will charm with their effectiveness and originality.

“The Roc Affusion is an iconic spa treatment room, while the Bouquets will bring a wellbeing approach within the large proposal of spa treatments, with talents and experts in nutrition, naturopathy and sophrology.”

Touch meets technology

Guests can also opt for a Dior Powered by Hydrafacial protocol, loaded with Dior’s Floral Peeling Lotion or three different full-body lymphatic drainage systems — featuring electrostimulation, micro-​vibration, and infrared light.

A selection of classic Dior massages, facials and body treatments are also available, as well as iridology, reflexology, yoga, naturopathy and osteopathy.

Dior Spa also offers organic wellbeing treatments from Bamford.

The spa’s suppliers include heat experiences by Star Wellness for Ki Life, uniforms by Dior, towels and spa linens from Dior for Beltrami, fitness equipment from Star Wellness for Sport Art, and software by Wellness x Spa Booker. Treatment beds supplied by Lemi Group.
