Billed as Geneva’s first all-suite hotel, the Oetker Collection is to unveil The Woodward in Spring 2021, complete with a Wellness Institute by Maison Guerlain.

Owned by Bastion Holdings, The Woodward sits on the shores of Lake Geneva at Quai Wilson, offering panoramic views of Mont Blanc.

The hotel’s 1,200sqm Wellness Institute by Maison Guerlain will offer six wellness suites, including one for couples, in which will be delivered exclusive treatments by Guerlain. As well as a 21m swimming pool, there will also be a gym equipped by Technogym, Gym80 and Life Fitness.

Originally built in 1901 by French architect François Durel in a post-Haussmann style, the hotel has been transformed and reimagined by architect Pierre-Yves Rochon.

Each of its 26 suites – 21 of which have lake views – has been designed to have its own distinct character, with signature flourishes including marble fireplaces and bookcases.

“We are delighted that The Woodward will be joining the iconic Oetker Collection, a brand that upholds the highest standards in hospitality and who we trust to breathe renewed passion, flair and life into this historic Geneva location,” said Christophe Aldunate, CEO of Bastion Management.
