Belmond Hotels partners with Dior to launch 'Garden of Dreams' pop-up experience on Italian Riviera

High-end hospitality group Belmond Hotels has partnered with Dior to offer a pop-up spa experience on the Italian Riviera. 

Set in the gardens of the Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, in Portofino, Italy, the experience – called Jardin des Rêves Dior, which translates as Dior’s Garden of Dreams – features two spa treatment spaces offering signature face and body rituals, including the new Dior Bronze Signature Massage. 

Developed especially for the collaboration, the 45-minute ritual is designed to boost radiance, prepare the skin for tanning and repair signs of sun damage.

Dior’s Garden of Dreams 

Inspired by the lush foliage surrounding the spa, Dior’s creative director of women’s collections, Maria Grazia Chiuri, has reimagined the fashion house’s iconic Toile de Jouy fabric in a vibrant leaf green to dress up the cabanas. 

The nearby Bagni Fiore beach club in Paraggi has also been transformed with the addition of a second pop-up treatment space offering outdoor experiences, while two decks and the club’s lounge bar have been revamped with the new Toile de Jouy fabric to create a serene relaxation space.

The brand has also created a temporary concept store offering a wide range of clothing options from the fashion house’s Dioriveria capsule collection, as well as the limited Splendido Edition of its Escale à Portofino perfume.

Luxurious relaxation haven

Finally, the partnership has also transformed a 16th-century monastery into a luxurious relaxation haven complete with several mid-century style guest rooms and an infinity pool, as well as a dining area serving fresh, local seafood. 

The experience will run until September 30, 2022.
