ESPA has hired Joanne Browne as it’s new training director to build on the brand’s commitment to providing high-level education, training and product innovation.

Browne brings with her a wealth of knowledge in the spa and wellness industry after 25 years encompassing private practice, senior management, training and consultancy in Europe and Asia.

As well as a BSc (Hons) in Health Science and Complementary Therapies, Browne is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists.

She is also a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies and Yoga Alliance Professionals.

Deeper therapeutic offerings

Browne established herself in private practice in London, specialising in herbal medicine, aromatherapy and bodyworks.

She spent four years living and working in southeast Asia as a spa consultant responsible for the opening of a network of spas for Intercontinental Hotel Group.

These included the world’s largest indoor Hot Springs Spa in Hainan, China.

“I am passionate about creating truly exceptional wellness experiences that will uplift and nourish both the clients to receive and the therapists to deliver.”
