TOO Hotel Paris takes spa to new heights

Designed by Jean Nouvel and Philippe Starck, the 170sqm TOO Chill Spa is perched at the top of the northern tower of the city’s new landmark Jean Nouvel’s Tours Duo skyscrapers.

TOO Chill has three treatment rooms, a fully glass-walled gym and a thermal suite with a custom-made cedar wood sauna and steam pool.

A ten-seater outdoor spa is set on a tree-lined 17^th floor terrace overlooking the city.

Treatments will be provided in three treatment rooms by French organic brand Ulé.

The menu includes Keep Calm & Plump It Up, a plumping, soothing treatment to reset skin using green LED, and It’s Been a Long Night, a 60-minute treatment designed to eliminate toxins and soothe the sebaceous glands, which ends with a blue LED session to purify and detoxify the skin.

Joie for Ever, billed as a gym session for a smoother skin, includes cryo and LEDs for radiant, firmer complexion.

Vertical farming

Ulé is unique in vertically farming the ingredients used in its botanicals-powered products.

Ulé cultivates and extracts exotic and ultra-potent plants from around the world, allowing the brand to maintain the shortest supply chain possible and lessen its environmental impact.

“It’s the story of a palace floating in the sky above Paris, bursting with energy, dreams, love, wishes, intelligence and laughter,” said artistic director and interior architect, Philippe Starck.

“The evening begins in Paris, but by the end you could almost be in another of the world’s great cities.”

A spa with a view

“TOO Hotel is perched so high up you get the feeling Paris is all yours,” added Laurent Taïeb, founder of TOO Hotels.

Open exclusively to hotel guests, the TOO Chill spa overlooks the River Seine. Situated in the up-and-coming 13th arrondissement, each of the 139 rooms and suites providing a bird’s-eye view of Paris.

Starck’s unexpected interiors include beds intentionally angled toward the best views.

Other suppliers include uniforms from Beauty Street and towels from Garnier-Thibault.
