Helen Griffiths to lead spa at The Royal Crescent

Helen Griffiths has been named as spa manager at The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa in Bath, UK. 

Griffiths brings more than 20 years’ experience to the role, having begun her career as spa therapist at Aqua Sana at Center Parcs before training to become a beauty therapist and then spa manager. 

In more recent years, she held high-profile roles with Sanctuary Spa, where she supported the opening of three of its London venues, and the Accor-owned Mercure in Bristol, where she served as spa director.

Exceptional guest experience

In her new role at The Spa & Bath House, Griffiths will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience and maintaining the spa’s reputation as a leading destination spa. 

She will also be responsible for spa and gym operations, memberships, health and safety, staff training and welfare, and spa partnerships and retail products. 

Currently, the spa’s key partner is Elemental Herbology, which provides leading face and body treatments based on the Five Element Theory found in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Iconic spa destination

Commenting on her appointment, Griffiths said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be working at and leading the spa team at The Royal Crescent.” 

“It’s such an iconic hotel and already has such an impressive reputation as a hotel spa destination. I look forward to sharing my expertise with the team and bringing fresh new ideas to the table.”
