Samantha Ashton promoted by ESPA

Samantha Ashton has been promoted by ESPA to the role of director of spa, UK & Ireland.

Her new role includes commercial and operational responsibility for ESPA’s UK and Irish spas, looking after properties such as ESPA Life Corinthia, The Europe Hotel & Resort, Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa and King Street Townhouse.

Ashton has a wealth of spa knowledge and experience, having worked in the beauty industry for more than 25 years.

An experienced spa professional

A trained beauty therapist and aromatherapist, Ashton worked as a therapist with Lancome Le Spa and Decléor before moving to work with Jo Malone London, managing its treatments and stores.

During her 13 years with Estée Lauder at Jo Malone London, Ashton held various roles including store manager, trainer and area sales manager. She also has a Certificate In Education from UCLan.

Ashton has worked with the ESPA team for five years in different departments, helping to develop new ways of working.

Initially a retail area manager for the north, she advanced to the position of head of education and development in 2021.

In her new role, Ashton will work alongside ESPA’s team of spa operations managers and with spa partners across the UK and Ireland. She will work with the brand to deliver bespoke spa experiences for all ESPA guests.
