Industry veteran Napat Edwards joins the Italian medical wellness retreat, bringing 20 years of experience to the role

Italian medical wellness retreat Palazzo Fiuggi has announced the appointment of Napat Edwards as its new director of spa.

Edwards brings more than two decades of experience in spa and wellness hospitality to her new role.

Her experience spans some of the most well established spas in the world across Asia to the Middle East and Europe.

Edwards was instrumental in pre-opening, rebranding and reorganising spa and wellness operations at Six Senses Resort Phuket, Accor, Intercontinental Hotels and Banyan Tree Resort.

She has also worked with Langham Hotels as part of the pre-opening of Chuan Spa, Movenpick Hotels & Resorts and LXR by Hilton.

Experienced in guiding teams of mixed nationalities, Edwards is skilled in promoting attention to detail and highest levels of customer service.

She assisted during the rebranding of IHG group to the Mövenpick group and, as manager of Sash Spa in Bahrain,  worked to develop the award winning luxury day spa.

New programming at Palazzo Fiuggi

The announcement comes as the retreat grows its extensive offering with the launch of a newHiking for Longevity programme as well as the HPM Biomechanical Assessment.

Hiking for Longevity is an exclusive programme, with a focus on guests feeling their best self through the great outdoors.

Guests will gain all the benefits of hiking in the Apennine Mountains, combined with a Mediterranean diet and the purifying properties of Fiuggi’s water.

The High Performance Method (HPM) Biomechanical Assessment is a unique set of tools that deliver results in athletic performance and overall wellbeing.

The team behind this method have set up at Palazzo Fiuggi, the first time they have been in a wellness retreat setting. A HMP Assessment can be added to any wellness or medical programme at the spa.
