New spa manager appointed at Bristol’s Aztec Spa

Hannah Rawlins will manage the everyday running of the Daniel Thwaites property, which underwent a renovation earlier this year

Hannah Rawlings has been appointed as new spa manager at the Aztec Hotel and Spa, a Daniel Thwaites property in Bristol, UK.

The spa underwent renovation work including the refurbishment of its treatment rooms and the addition of a new Himalayan salt sauna and relax room earlier this year.

“The Spa at Aztec Hotel has really made a name for itself in the last year, so coming on board now is very exciting! I’m looking forward to being a part of the journey to transform the reputation of the spa into a wellness destination.”

Rawlings has previously worked at other leading spa destinations including the Bath Priory, the Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa, Celtic Manor and Barnsley House.

She will manage the everyday running of the spa and 14 members of staff.

Rawlings’ goal at Aztec is to help guests deepen their understanding of the spa concept, so they can go on to live a better, more full wellness lifestyle beyond the spa.

She believes in taking the spa journey to the next level, and providing guests with an unforgettable experience, and will lead the team in delivering the highest standards.

Earlier this year, the Aztec Hotel and Spa was named the Best Boutique Spa in the UK at the Good Spa awards 2022.
