Hotel Portrait Milano in Milan, part of the Lungarno Collection, has announced the opening of its new The Longevity Spa, the first Longevity Suite-branded spa in Europe.

Offering holistic and multidisciplinary treatments, the 700sqm wellness facility opened in early February.

The spa is run by the Longevity Suite, which is an advanced biohacking and anti-ageing brand. It includes treatment cabins, a pool with vaulted ceiling and jade-coloured glass mosaic flooring by Culligans, a Turkish bath and sauna by Starpool, relaxation area, and gym in partnership with Technogym.

Open to hotel guests, members and the general public by appointment, Longevity Spa offers standalone body and facial treatments as well as more elaborate programmes. These programmes are tailored for guests pursuing a balance between health, conscious beauty and mental energy.

Longevity Spa is the vision of Studio B+ Architects with executive coordination by Roberto Creati and his Rebrand Group.

Architect Michele Bonan created the pool and wet areas. The Longevity Suite were the spa consultants.

"The true peculiarity of The Longevity Spa is the fusion of high-tech biohacking and our holistic Blue Zone philosophies. Our mission is to guide the guests towards the best version of themselves through integrated, highly efficient, technologically advanced protocols, expertly crafted by blending traditional paths with a selection of the most advanced beauty, rebalancing and rejuvenation treatments."

Blue Zones signature rituals

In three individual treatment rooms, the Longevity Spa will offer Blue Zones signature rituals on Lemi treatment beds. These immersive, multisensory experiences combine manual techniques, music and aromatic synergies to transport guests to each of the world’s Blue Zone destinations.

The rituals are complemented by three facials, designed Dr Barbara Sturm.

In the dedicated biohacking suite, the spa will offer a new Mind & Body Biohacking treatment. It is designed to positively ‘hack’ the guest’s biological system, reducing inflammation and ageing.

This treatment includes dry float therapy using Starpool’s Zerobody Dry Float.

Additional suppliers include Cassina for sofas, relaxation beds and soft furnishings, Exteta and Michele Bonan for the pool area and Frette for towels and spa linens.

“Portrait Milano was born as a project intended to revolutionise the classic dynamics of setting up a hotel. This included choosing a wellness brand we thought could be antithetical to the classic hotel spa. The Longevity Suite perfectly represents this through its forward-thinking approach.”

Valeriano Antonioli

CEO, Lungarno Collection

“The Longevity Spa is the first project of this kind; it will speak to the hotel guests but also to the whole city,” continues Antonioli.

“In a place steeped in history we have brought a brand steeped in technology and research that aims at making everyone’s life with the best quality and expectation ever.”
