Mandarin Oriental has launched Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, a new urban resort on the banks of the Bosphorus strait in Istanbul, Turkey.

The group’s second hotel in the region after Mandarin Oriental Bodrum, which opened in 2014, the  Bosphorus property features 100 lavishly designed guest rooms and suites, offering stunning views of the surrounding city, the nearby Naile Sultan pine grove and the river itself.

Guests will also have access to The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, a 325sqm destination spa with 11 treatment rooms, including two dedicated beauty rooms and a VIP room, equipped with Gharieni MLW Amphibia treatment beds, designed to aid relaxation and encourage mindfulness and meditation.

“Our destination spa filled with vivid natural daylight is the first of its kind in the city, with spectacular facilities, unique wellness offerings and fitness centre to nurture mind, body and soul,” said a Mandarin Oriental spokesperson.

Other facilities include a fitness centre with a gym outfitted with Technogym equipment, as well as a Pilates and yoga studio, relaxation areas and garden.
