L’Institut Sothys reopens in Paris after renovation

Sothys’s flagship site, L’Institut Sothys, has reopened in Paris after being closed for refurbishment for two years.

The brand’s global flagship, L’Institut Sothys is an elegant and refined space in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. The spa offers a Sothys boutique and four treatment suites – two singles, and one double, which can be split into singles.

Offering responsible beauty that respects the skin and the environment, spa director Isabelle Villey is joined by spa manager Sylvia Bonnefon.

The vision of Jean Pierre Aldebert, Studio Kompa and Media 6, the treatment suites combine Haussmann style with a warm and peaceful ambiance.

Treatments have been designed to offer sensoriality and efficiency, always with a personalised approach, and include Sothys’ exclusive Digi-Esthétique techniques.

Treatment beds are supplied by Gharieni in the spa and Lemi in the training centre. Uniforms are from Beauty Street, towels and spa linens from RKF and bookings software from Spa Booker.

Les Jardins Sothys

Four therapists work in the 180sqm Sothys Institute, which offers guests the chance to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and escape to Les Jardins Sothys in Auriac, Corrèz.

The Sothys Gardens are projected throughout the relaxation and treatment rooms in real-time. Visitors can also sample Les Jardins Sothys herbal teas.

A unique multisensory experience is on offer in the scent bar. Two intimate spaces are set aside for personalised skin consultations with customised prescriptions, and make-up sessions.

International Training centre

Within L’Institut Sothys there is also a new 545sqm Sothys group international training centre.

The Sothys Academy allows participants to discover all the brand’s iconic products as well as the essentials of its care rituals.

The training areas are designed by and for beauticians, so trainees can practise protocols in a high-tech environment.

Dedicated to supporting care professionals from all over the world, The Sothys Academy will guide trainees in how to establish a cosmetic diagnosis and a beauty prescription for each client to enable them to become Sothys ambassadors.
