UK Spa Association announces Autumn Networking Event 2023

The UK Spa Association will hold its Autumn Networking Event 2023 at The Municipal Liverpool – MGallery on Wednesday, October 18.

Taking place between 10.30am and 3.30pm, the main networking event will be followed by the National Spa Director Assembly.

The event, in partnership with Sothys, offers spa and wellness leaders the chance to connect in person, network and hear the latest news from suppliers.

Inspiring speakers at UK Spa Association

The session will also offer a host of inspiring speakers including Liz Warom, co-founder and managing director of Temple Spa, who will share the brand’s story and a few of her insights into wellness.

A panel of industry professionals will also talk with energy specialists OS-Gen on ‘How to Reduce Energy Costs and Improve Your Carbon Footprint’.

OS Gen is an on-site generation expert that delivers material financial savings for its customers.

Wellness sessions at UK Spa Association autumn event

During the morning of Wednesday, October 18, delegates will have the opportunity to experience cold water therapy courtesy of Brass Monkey. The company, which supplies technologically advanced ice baths, is offering free dips to attendees.

Towels will be provided, so just remember to bring your swimwear.

Sessions are available from 7am onwards and throughout the day. Changing rooms are available nearby.

Sound healing sessions

Sound healing and meditation practitioner Harriet Emily will close the afternoon with a sound bath.

Emily is a talented practitioner and has worked across Europe and the US with companies including the ITV Network and Soho House.

Sharing best practice

Following the event there will be further opportunities to share best practice and network within your own member category. The National Spa Director Assembly will take place 3.45pm-4.45pm for spa leaders to discuss hot topics within the operator remit of the sector.

Simultaneously, the UK Spa Association is hosting its very first Supplier Focus Forum, allowing supplier members and exhibitors to meet, network and share best practices within their remit. Booking is not required.
