Victoria Dello Ioio promoted to UK country manager by Sothys

Victoria Dello Ioio, who was appointed by luxury French spa and skincare brand Sothys last year, has been promoted to UK country manager.

With experience gleaned from more than 20 years working in the global spa industry, Dello Ioio will now be responsible for the UK subsidiary and all departments within that.

She will work with the sales, training, marketing, PR and social media teams, as well as the back-office team to ensure a smooth operation across logistics, warehouse, finance and administration.

Talking exclusively to European Spa, Dello Ioio said: “I am passionate about our sector and thrilled to see how Sothys is already being received by operators across the UK spa market.

“My new role allows me to strategise and fine tune our long-term business goals.

“I feel more motivated than ever before to take on this new challenge!”

“Our goal at Sothys is to become a key player in the UK spa arena,” she says. “We have a deep understanding of the UK spa market’s needs.

Growth, sustainability and French luxury

Dello Ioio began her career as a spa therapist at Ragdale Hall before going on to hold high-profile roles at brands including Hyatt Regency, Shiseido and Natura Bissé.

Her vision for Sothys in the coming years is to focus on growth and sustainability, while continuing to embody French luxury.

“Sothys has an in-depth approach to sustainability, state of the art skincare formulas and incredibly results-driven treatment rituals.

“As a professional-only brand, we can continue focusing solely on this sector, something which is very important to a lot of spa operators.”

Treatment room for Les Jardins Sothys

Last month, Sothys announced the opening of a new treatment room in Les Jardins Sothys.

Situated in Corrèze, south-west France, Les Jardins Sothys is a collection of plants set in almost four hectares, which are the source of inspiration and creation for Sothys products.

As ancestral home of the Mas family for more than 150 years. the gardens are both the link that unites Sothys with its history and a symbol of the naturalness that presides over the ethics and formulation of the brand’s products.

A new treatment cabin, nestled in undergrowth overlooking the gardens, has now been opened.

Within the cabin, guests can experience a selection of professional treatments from each of Sothy’s brands – Sothys, Bernard Cassière and Beauty Garden.

“Les Jardins Sothys is a true sensory escape, where you can see, touch and listen to the nature.

“With this serene treatment cabin, nestled in the woodland overlooking the most picturesque landscape, we are now complete.
