Clinique La Prairie, the Swiss medical spa and longevity institute, has marked a major milestone in the evolution of preventive health and wellness with its recent global launch of two transformative offerings.

Epinome – a new precision supplement targeting epigenetic health – was launched alongside the brand’s Longevity Master Assessment. This ground-breaking diagnostic service could represent a turning point for personalised wellness in spas and medical retreats.

Both launches mark the brand’s ambition to lead a global shift toward science-led longevity.

Uniquely, Clinique La Prairie is combining AI-powered diagnostics, nutraceuticals and health diagnostics with the latest findings in epigenetics to enhance its personalised longevity programmes.

“Until now, most spas have focused on generic lifestyle advice such as relaxation, exercise and nutrition. These are important, but without real data, it’s difficult to create lasting impact. The Longevity Master Assessment changes that."

Simone Gibertoni

CEO, Clinique La Prairie

Speaking exclusively to European Spa, Simone Gibertoni, CEO of Clinique La Prairie said: “With Epinome and our new Longevity Master Assessment, we’re enabling clients to take proactive action long before symptoms appear.

“This is about intervening at the right time, in the right way, using evidence-based insights to reduce key health risks like cardiovascular disease. It’s a model of care that’s grounded in prevention, not treatment.”

Epinome: designed to slow cellular ageing

Epinome, part of the Holistic Health range, has been developed over three years in collaboration with Genknowme, a Swiss life sciences company specialising in epigenetics.

It is Clinique La Prairie’s first supplement developed specifically to regulate DNA methylation and gene expression. These are mechanisms central to how the body ages and repairs itself at the cellular level.

The formulation features a blend of seven plant-based bioactive compounds including sulforaphane, betulinic acid and CoQ10. Each has been chosen for their ability to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation while enhancing cellular resilience.

These compounds are combined with the brand’s 5-active Holistic Complex. The result is a potent daily sachet formula designed to slow cellular ageing and promote epigenetic balance and long-term vitality.

‘A step forward in preventative health’

At the recent launch event, Olga Donica, director of innovation at Clinique La Prairie and Holistic Health, emphasised that Epinome is more than a luxury supplement.

“This reflects years of scientific research and a deep understanding of how nutrients can influence gene expression in measurable, meaningful ways,” she said.

“It is a step forward in preventive health that aligns perfectly with the growing demand for longevity solutions rooted in science.”

Longevity Master Assessment: precision diagnostics

Alongside Epinome, Clinique La Prairie’s new Longevity Master Assessment is hoped to be a gamechanger in diagnostic wellness.

Claiming to offer the most comprehensive analysis of biological health currently available in a spa or clinic environment, the protocol brings together more than 300 biomarkers across eight modules.

These encompass genetic profiling, glycan and microbiome analysis, neuromuscular assessment, nutritional evaluation, mental wellbeing checks, biochemical testing and advanced inflammatory markers.

Each of these diagnostic categories helps to provide a full-spectrum view of the client’s biological age, health vulnerabilities and long-term wellness potential.

Gibertoni believes that this approach represents the future of preventative healthcare.

“Until now, most spas have focused on generic lifestyle advice such as relaxation, exercise and nutrition,” he said. “These are important, but without real data, it’s difficult to create lasting impact.

“The Longevity Master Assessment changes that. It brings precision diagnostics into the heart of wellness, allowing spas to offer truly bespoke care with real medical depth.”

Dynamic expression of your genes

Dr Semira Gonseth Nusslé, CEO of Genknowme, is the scientific lead behind Clinique La Prairie’s Longevity Master Assessment. She has played a pivotal role in bringing biomedical expertise in epigenetics to shape the new Longevity Master Assessment.

“Epigenetics gives us the ability to measure how your current lifestyle is impacting your future health. That means we can now make adjustments that are preventative, evidence-based and empowering.

“This marks a new era in wellness, where science doesn’t just diagnose, it guides transformation.”

“Our collaboration with Clinique La Prairie reflects a shared vision for the future of preventive health, one where precision and personalisation come together,” she added.

“With the right insights, we can now act on biological changes long before disease symptoms emerge. That is the true essence of proactive, preventive wellness.”

Clinique La Prairie’s vision, where luxury, technology and biology converge, is one to watch in the wellness world. As Simone Gibertoni concluded: “This isn’t about treating illness. It’s about unlocking health. That starts with data, trust and targeted action.”

Epinome is now available in a 30-day box for £390, sold through Clinique La Prairie’s online platform and a selection of retailers including Harrods, Mandarin Oriental and John Bell & Croyden.
