Bainland Lodge Retreats opens new spa

Set in 45 acres of ancient woodland in the a town of Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire, Bainland Lodge Retreats has opened a new 505sqm spa.

The Spa at Bainland Lodge Retreats was designed by Karen Robson, working in collaboration with APSS.

Facilities include an indoor and outdoor sauna, steam room and swimming pool with heated loungers, as well as a spa terrace with hot tubs, an ice bath and sun loungers.

The new spa allows Bainland to offer treatments for the first time. The spa has partnered with Elemis for its spa therapies, across three treatment rooms, with spa beds supplied by Ellisons.

“The spa’s USP is the unhurried quietness of the experience. We wanted to build the finest spa in Lincolnshire, which means attention to detail and the best build quality in everything we do,” said Simon Craddock, owner of Bainland Lodge Retreats.

“We have kept numbers to a minimum to avoid overbooking and ensure we give customers the best experience we can offer.

“It’s a place for guests that is designed around a single, simple idea: that true rest is worth making space for, especially on holiday.”

Unhurried quietness

Suppliers include Dalesauna for the sauna and steam room, and Jacuzzi Hot Tubs for the thermal pools.

Odyssey Plunge supplied the plunge pool and Iglucraft provided the outdoor sauna, while Florence Roby supplied the uniforms and BC SoftWear the towels and spa linens. There is a Technogym equipped gym.

Under spa managers Georgina French and Sadie Fackrell , the spa offers thermal spa packages with access to the indoor and outdoor saunas, steam room, new hot tubs and ice bath.
