Hyatt Regency Lisbon opens with Serenity spa

Hyatt has debuted in Portugal with the opening of its first branded hotel, Hyatt Regency Lisbon.

The 204-room, five-star property offers a world-class spa concept, managed by Portuguese luxury spa and wellness brand Serenity – The Art of Well Being.

A leading spa brand in Portugal, Serenity offers Hyatt Regency Lisbon guests wellness activities and spa treatments.

The offer is tailored to each guests’ individual needs, and always aimed at creating a restorative escape.

Custom-made luxury

The 1,100 sqm Serenity Spa, designed by UIP Construction & Development Team, offers nine treatment rooms.

There is one oriental room for Thai massages, a couple’s room and a private suite – adjacent to the couple’s room – with separate sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and lounging area.

In total €3,200,000 (£2,816,000) has been invested in facilities such as a custom-made indoor pool and sauna, overlooking a vertical garden.

There is also a steam room, hot tub, ice fountain and experience showers – all custom made.

Products and treatments are supplied by Sensai, Thalgo, ila Spa, Gentlemen’s Tonic, The Organic Pharmacy, and OPI

Uniforms are supplied by Jobs Uniforms, towels and spa linens by Neiper and treatment beds by Gharieni.

All encompassing wellness

The brand will also offer ACTIVE by Serenity, encompassing a gym and two fitness studios for classes, fitted with the latest Technogym equipment.

ACTIVE is aimed at supporting guests who wish to keep up with their fitness and wellness routines going while away from home.

Membership programmes are also available.
