Six Senses has appointed 40-year international hospitality veteran Neil Palmer as its new chief operating officer.
Palmer’s experience includes a 25-year stint at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where he served as senior vice-president, operations, Asia Pacific, developing the company’s hotel portfolio and overseeing the pre-opening hotel pipeline for the region.
In his new role, which will see him relocate from New Zealand to Singapore, Palmer will be responsible for Six Senses’ growing portfolio of spas, resorts and hotels in 20 countries, as well as the 34 properties that are currently in development.
