Treatwell welcomes Claire Davenport as its new CEO

Davenport will invest in pioneering technology to simplify the lives of spas and beauty salons via the online platform

The beauty and wellness marketplace Treatwell has appointed Claire Davenport as its new CEO.

Davenport has worked for companies including Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase, as well as Skype and HelloFresh. She has a degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Over the past three years, Davenport has served as the CEO of Not On The High Street. She is also an independent non-executive director on the board of consumer reviews website, Trustpilot plc.

As CEO at Treatwell, she will manage a group of more than 800 employees.

Davenport intends to lead the brand, which Treatwell merged with Uala in 2022, in a new strategy, which involves a renewed commitment to Treatwell’s online platform.

The Anglo-Italian group currently has a presence in 13 European countries and manages 100 million appointments each year.

The primary focus will remain investing in and enhancing Treatwell’s product and technology to fuel growth and leading in the digital transformation of the beauty industry.

About the Treatwell online platform

Treatwell offers users the ability to book a beauty appointments on its site.

Beauticians and personal-care professionals can use the site to manage their salon activities thanks to a digital diary and cloud-based management software.
