French spa brand, Spa by L’Occitane has opened its first Italian spa at the luxury five-star boutique Hotel Palazzo Tirso Cagliari – MGallery.

Housed in a historic property in the heart of the ancient capital of Cagliari in southern Sardinia, the project underlines the continuing partnership between L’Occitane and Accor Group.

Created by spa designer Marco Piva, it also has a Technogym-equipped gym and an indoor hydromassage pool.

The spa has three treatment rooms filled with natural light, and an extensive bespoke spa menu.

Uniforms are supplied by Beauty Street and spa software by Beauty Check.

Bespoke spa treatments inspired by the beauty of Provence

Guests will be offered a fully integrated and holistic wellbeing journey with treatments using L’Occitane en Provence’s signature products, carried out by a team of three spa therapists.

Spa L’Occitane’s sensorial experiences are inspired by the natural beauty and fertile soil of Provence.

Each guest journey begins with a soothing Welcome Ritual, followed by a chosen treatment designed to engage all the senses, concluding with herbal teas inspired by Provençal traditions.

Additional spa rituals

The MGallery menu at Spa by L’Occitane features both new customised facial and body therapies, and signature treatments.

Uniquely at Hotel Palazzo Tirso Cagliari, guests are offered the choice of an additional spa ritual with their treatment. These include relaxing breathing, energising breathing, a Koshi sound bath or a hot compress on the neck.

Spa guests also receive a QR code linked to a short film with wellbeing tips that they can repeat when they get home.

These include how to self-administer a five-minute hand and scalp massage and how to carry out relaxing breathing techniques.

The tiny, golden Immortelle flowers, grown organically in Corsica and also Sardinia, are known for aiding longevity. They are rich in active molecules with unique anti-ageing properties.

The 90-minute facial targets deep wrinkles and lines, smoothing and firming skin texture and tackling age spots and uneven skin tone.
