The new Spa du Montcel Sothys is preparing to open at the Dolce by Wyndham Versailles – Domaine du Montcel.

In the heart of France’s Yvelines region, Dolce by Wyndham Versailles is a symbol of French heritage less than 30 minutes from Paris.

The 1,000sqm Spa du Montcel Sothys will offer seven treatment rooms (one double) and a manicure/pedicure room. It will employ five full-time therapists as well as a team of five freelancers.

Facilities include a connected indoor outdoor pool, sauna and hammam, sensory shower, relaxation room and snow cave, all supplied by Hydro Concept Monaco.

There is a large sun terrace and Matrix-equipped fitness centre.

“Spanning an impressive 1,000sqm our spa boasts outstanding facilities surrounded by a picturesque 14-hectare park and embellished with state-of-the-art design. It is the perfect destination to unwind in style.”

Karin Raphael

Spa manager, Spa du Montcel Sothys

Treatment beds are supplied by Tulum and all treatments are by Sothys. Uniforms are from Beautystreet, and software is by Spa Booker.

The interior design is the vision of interior architect Sébastien Flamant and contemporary artist Elodie Lefèvre.

The plant-based decor includes a mosaic wall, which evokes the history of Toile de Jouy. A waterfall plunges directly into the indoor sensory pool and there is a health trail with water jets.

As well as daily spa entrance, the spa will offer three membership levels.
