Siyam World, Maldives to debut in late 2021

Scheduled to open in Q4, 2021, Siyam World, Maldives will be located in the Noonu Atoll on a 54-hectare natural island.

Billed as one of the biggest new build resort projects in the Maldives, the resort will be operated as a standalone brand under Sun Siyam Resorts and is intended to be a ‘striking new interpretation of the Maldives’ rich natural wonders’.

With a range of 499 rooms and residences across 12 different categories, all with private pools, Siyam World is being positioned as an ‘all-in’ resort. Guests will have more than a dozen bars and restaurants to choose from as well as a range of signature experiences to enjoy.

The inclusive resort will be headed up by general manager Tom McLoughlin, who has more than two decades of experience working in the Maldives alone and has previously spearheaded a range of innovative island concepts including Hilton Rangali (subsequently rebranded as Conrad); Huvafen Fushi, Amilla Fushi and Finolu.
