Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas has introduced a resident naturopath and nutritionist to its popular Cocoon Medi-spa, and added immune boosting therapies to the menu.

Situated within the UNESCO Biosphere of the Baa Atoll, its recently renovated over-water spa and wellness centre now features refurbished treatment rooms, new saunas, hot and cold plunge pools and a restyled overwater relaxation area.

Kelly Manning, the resort’s new resident naturopathic nutritionist from the UK, offers 90-minute nutrition and lifestyle consultations that include epigenetic testing.

The epigenetic hair test through a bio profiler, provides information about your body’s nutritional needs. Kelly’s consultation addresses the overall nutrient value of your daily diet to ensure optimal wellbeing and sustained health with a 90-day food plan to follow at home.

To add to the wellness offering, resort general manager, Ross Sanders takes guests on a 5km run or a 1.5km reef swim around the island. Motivated by his goal of competing in an Ironman, he runs or swims around the island six days a week and invites guests to accompany him – presenting them with a photograph and certificate at the finish.

Be well...
