Sean O’Connor named as wellness partner at Myrtha Wellness

Myrtha Wellness has appointed Sean O’Connor to the role of wellness partner. 

O’Connor has worked in spa and wellness for almost 30 years and has previously held positions at Hyatt International, where he served as director of recreation and resorts, and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, where he was group spa manager, design and development.

During his 35-year career, O’Connor has overseen the planning, design and launch of almost 100 hospitality properties, including 35 spas, wellness and resort destinations.

In his new role, he will be responsible for championing and supporting the brand throughout its global launch.

“I jumped at the chance to join the Myrtha family,” said O’Connor. “Myrtha has been a great partner over the past 15 years and I hope to spread that success around the wellness industry.”

Based in Italy, Myrtha Wellness is a division of Myrtha Pools, dedicated to the creation of therapeutic wellness centres and spa facilities.
