Refurbished Matfen Hall partners with Natura Bissé

Following a multi-million pound refurbishment, Matfen Hall hotel and spa in Northumberland has reopened and unveiled a new partnership with leading luxury skincare brand Natura Bissé.

The country hotel, spa and golf estate had been closed since November 2020 to give its new owners, Walwick Estate Group, a chance to invest in the venue with work carried out by specialist local tradesmen and builders.

The revitalised spa menu at The Retreat now features a wide range of treatments by Natura Bissé, including facials and a range of face and body rituals. Other product houses include ila and OPI.

Walwick Estate Group chairman David Harrison said: “Matfen Hall has a natural beauty and elegance, so our ambition with the work was to make the most of these natural assets.
