Phorest commits €100,000 to new initiative driving spa and salon growth

Phorest – a Dublin-based spa and salon software provider – has launched the Phorest Growth Fund, a new initiative that will provide funding to Phorest clients looking to grow their businesses. 

The company has committed €100,000 (£83,000) to the initiative to help spa and salon owners to expand their operations. 

Funding will be awarded on a case-by-case basis by an independent panel of industry experts including Paolo Braguzzi, former CEO of Davines Group; Janna Ronert, founder of Image Skincare; David Barnett, hairdresser and business coach; and public speaker and author Susan Routledge.

The fund was launched by Phorest CEO Ronan Perceval at The Brave New World Gala Dinners. Hosted in Dublin and London at the end of March, these events celebrated the “courage and camaraderie” of the hair and beauty industry. 

“We established the Phorest Growth Fund to give back to the community that has given us so much,” said Perceval. 

“Phorest was born on the salon floor – we know what it’s like to be at the heart of a business that is striving for excellence, but we are also acutely aware of the challenges facing the industry when it comes to growing that business.”

“We want to help spas and salons reach their next steps through The Phorest Growth Fund,” Perceval added. 

Applications for the Phorest Growth Fund are now open and close on May 1, 2022.
