Inside Paragraph Spa

At 1,331 sqm, Paragraph Spa spans the three upper levels of the hotel, affording indoor and outdoor panoramic cityscapes.

A two-story façade encompasses the circular pool and thermal experiences, supplied by GLS Techno, framing the view of Freedom Square and the Tbilisi skyline.

Inspired by contemporary architecture, the design utilises organic lines and a curated mix of materials including metal, glass and polished stone. This is contrasted with natural textures to create aesthetic appeal.

Treatment beds are supplied by Gharieni Group and NILO, uniforms by DIKA and spa linens and towels by Detay Textiles.

"Paragraph Spa brings a new level of spa experience to Tbilisi. The care and thought that has gone into every aspect of our journey – from the sense of place created by the use of natural light to the stunning views and outdoor spaces – makes it a unique, distinctive sanctuary.”

Elene Sevastianova

Spa director, Paragraph Spa

“We are delighted to launch the Paragraph Spa in partnership with ESPA, debuting the world-renowned wellbeing lifestyle brand in Georgia,” said spa director Elene Sevastianova.

“Our treatments encourage rejuvenation, rebalancing and revitalisation, immersing mind and body in therapies inspired by nature.

“We have extensive heat experiences, bespoke treatments and an exceptional spa team including six therapists, four fitness coaches, one yoga teacher and ten receptionists.”

Encounter Signature Rituals

Drawing inspiration from the region’s heritage and natural resources, customised ESPA treatments include results-focused facials, high performance body treatments, immersive massages and Encounter Signature Rituals.

These sensorial ESPA rituals capture local therapeutics and indigenous influences to bring a sense of harmonious balance. The two-hour Fire and Ice Regenerating Ritual, for example, uses heat and cold therapy to stimulate, renew and empower the body’s systems.

Massage uses volcanic hot stones and this contrasts with a glacier-inspired regenerating cryo globe facial.

The two hour Vitality Wellbeing Ritual is a re-energising experience that combines cell-renewing exfoliation with a a re-mineralising marine mud body wrap and an anti-inflammatory herbal infused poultice massage.

“We imagined a space where the guests are transported on a seamless elegant yet warm and comforting journey, exalting their senses in a locally inspired enriching experience,” said interior designers from HAT DESIGN.

“We were motivated by the duality of climates in Georgia, one of the most ecologically diverse countries in the world. Its climatic zones range from subtropical to high alpine to semi-desert.

“We translated the local experience through a natural selection of textures, serene colours with vibrant detailing, and locally inspired art patterns.”
