The world-renowned Palace Merano will re-open its doors on 25 February, unveiling the newly-refurbished Revital Spa.

The 1,200 m² spa in South Tyrol, Italy has been re-envisaged by interior designer, Michel Jouannet.

This re-opening marks the completion of all works at Palace Merano and the launch of its new Revital Method: Detox for Longevity.

The new Revital Spa has 18 more spacious and brighter cabins, where treatments including Revital’s famous cupping massages take place.

Each cabin is decorated in soft tones, with insulated doors to prevent exterior noise and more natural light.

In addition, the two cabins dedicated to scalp treatments have also been fully renovated, along with a cabin for manicures and pedicures.

Revital protocols

All facial and body treatments use Piroche Cosmétiques.

As the Revital method specialises in completely unique offerings, medical and wellness treatments are tailored to the needs of each visitor.

Tailor-made sensory experiences include detox, brightening, anti-age and draining facials as well as cellulite treatments, reflexology and body peels.

Each treatment follows a specific Revital protocol – a synergy between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine, adapted to the guest’s bespoke needs to deliver a unique wellness experience.

“With this in mind, together with new research, our team is able to increasingly customise solutions for guests,” continues Dr Mayrhofer.

“Our future will grow from our successful history of offering unique experience with the most personalised treatments.”

Seven wellness departments

In total, the health and wellness departments at Palace Merano now extend to more than 6,000sq m.

The Revital Spa joins an existing 1,800sq m wellness area, which includes a 16m swimming pool with hot tub, an outdoor heated pool, a sauna, Turkish bath, Kneipp path and women’s wellness area.

Also new, a 160sq m fitness room, with panoramic windows overlooking the park and outdoor pool, is equipped with the Technogym Artis line.

The boutique has been refreshed and will stock Revital by Piroche Cosmétiques, exclusively made in Merano.

The 1,500sq m medical department occupies the entire fifth floor, staffed by more than 60 medical specialists, aesthetic doctors, nutritionists, alternative practitioners, physiotherapists, osteopaths and nurses.

There are dedicated Dietetics and Bioenergetics departments, with naturopathic specialists, and a centre for aesthetic medicine as well as an internal medical analysis laboratory.

“We believe that our focus on offering treatments by hand rather than those operated by a machine sets us apart and is only achievable due to our highly experienced team,” says general manager, Max Newiger.

The six-day Revital Detox for Longevity Programme is available from €4,050 per person, plus €302 which covers three medical examinations. Accommodation for seven nights starts from €2,520
