Pioneering Italian medical spa, Palace Merano, has reopened with renovated spaces and updated treatment programmes.
A new Relax and Balance area offers yoga, energy awakening and guided meditations. The spa’s saunas have been redesigned and a new Sport Recovery Lab offers advanced rehabilitation technologies.
A complete overhaul of the medical spa was overseen by interior designer Michel Jouannet.

French footballer and sports executiveThe spa, which has been offering wellness and longevity programming for the last 20 years, has also announced Zinédine Zidane as its new brand ambassador.
The French footballer and sports executive has been a repeat guest for nearly 30 years and will serve as the face of Palace Merano while advising on new wellness programmes.
Zidane was among the first to experience Palace Merano’s new Sport Recovery Lab, a space dedicated to muscle recovery and rehabilitation for athletes, introduced in March.
Palace Merano created the acclaimed Revital Method more than 20 years ago. It blends cutting-edge western medical techniques and functional, allopathic and energy medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine for preventive care.
For 2025, new Revital programmes are available. Revital Mind & Body includes treatments designed to release psychophysical tension including yoga massages and flotation therapy.
Revital Sport & Recovery is aimed at those who perform intensive physical activity on an amateur or professional level. The six-day programme includes postural and biomechanical assessments before a training and treatment phase.
The updated 2025 treatments also focus on nutrition, with personalised plans and weekly cooking classes.
Palace Merano’s 6,000sqm Revital Center and 1,500sqm medical floor offer facilities including hydrotherapy cabins, pools, saunas and a fitness area.
Programming includes the four-day Detox for Longevity Programme and the relaxing four-day Revital Spa.
