Newly renovated Open Spa reopens at the Ibiza Gran Hotel

Open Spa at the 187-suite Ibiza Gran Hotel has reopened after a complete renovation.

The 1,300sqm spa offers a holistic approach to wellness that complements the vibrant Mediterranean lifestyle.

Open Spa is divided into four areas, each designed to cater to different aspects of wellness and beauty. The overarching aim is to create a space offering a 360-degree approach to wellbeing.

Aqua Spa

The centrepiece of the spa is a comprehensive, revitalising water circuit, supplied by Hidro Balear.

The Aqua Spa includes heated hydromassage pools, equipped with jets, waterfalls and swan necks. Contrast therapy is available in the ice lounge and contrast path.

There is also a travertine-marbled Turkish hammam and sauna, by KLAFS.

Finally, a Himalayan salt therapy room and aroma and contrast showers, also by Klafs, complement the circuit. The Aqua Spa is capped off by a relaxation area with water beds.

The Rituals at Open Spa

The Rituals area is where Open Spa offers a selection of exclusive face and body treatments.

Its private spa suites are open to fresh air and natural light, and treatments integrate holistic wellness practices. Treatment tables are supplied by Stand del mueble and Nilo.

Luxury facial and body treatment experiences use Anne Semonin products and include the Gold Elixir Deluxe massage with hot gold stones.

Open Spa offers the Megan by Skeyndor Anti-Aging Body and Mind Ritual as well as Skeyndor Draining Wood Therapy.

Timeless prodigy Skeyndor is a new dimension of facial cosmetic treatment based on multigenic technology. The SeaSkin Life Mediterranean Detox Ritual is a detoxifying treatment with fleur de sel and pure botanicals.

Uniforms are supplied by Balneo, while towels and robes are by Rivolta.

Fitness first

The fitness area at Open Spa features a full suite of Technogym equipment.

The space, which is flooded with natural light, is designed to motivate and inspire. Personal trainers, along with Pilates and yoga instructors, are available to help guests achieve their fitness goals.

Recognising that beauty is an integral part of wellness, Open Spa’s salon offers a range of aesthetic services, including hair styling, manicures and pedicures.
