Mar Hall Hotel and Spa near Glasgow in Scotland has unveiled the first phase of a multi-million-pound resort redevelopment.

The new spa and leisure facilities are part of an overhaul of pre-existing spaces and include two saunas, two steam rooms and an outdoor thermal suite.

The new 20m indoor swimming pool is bathed in natural light and the pool hall has a natural, understated design.

Inspired by Scandinavian interiors, the spa has been designed with a sleek, simple look by Curveline Design. In the spa’s eight treatment rooms, led by spa manager Ailsa Young, there will be a selection of ishga treatments. The spa uses Premier Software.

Mar Hall sits within 240 acres of ancient woodland estate ten minutes’ drive from Glasgow. The 70-room resort also has an 18-hole championship golf course.

The resort has also submitted planning for 30 one, two and four-bedroom luxury lodges with outdoor terraces and private hot tubs.

“We are on an exciting journey of transformation across the Resort to materialise its luxury potential,” says Joe Gallacher, general manager at Mar Hall Hotel.

The lodges will be strategically positioned for views across the River Clyde and the Kilpatrick hill, each offering a sense of seclusion, surrounded by mature forestry.

Each lodge will be equipped with its own set of bicycles.
