Moments, Spa opens in the city of Aveiro

Moments, Spa, designed by architecture and interior design studio Designer’s Mint, has opened in Palacete de Valdemouro in the Portuguese city of Aveiro.

The MS Collection Aveiro – Palacete de Valdemouro is the first five-star hotel of the city. The new 300sqm spa has three treatment rooms and a team of five therapists.

Treatments by Thalgo include massages, rituals, facials and body treatments as well as clinical treatments.

A signature ritual is called Aveiro in Love, and there is a Moments signature massage as well as an Arctique exfoliation with three salts.

Facilities at Moments, Spa

Described as a ‘neoclassical paradise of sensations’, the spa occupies the lower ground of Palacete de Valdemouro.

Facilities include an immersive thermal area, illuminated with natural light from the glass that serves as both the base of the outdoor pool and the ceiling of the indoor pool.

The thermal area includes a heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, Turkish hamman and sensory shower.

Design studio Designer’s Mint has drawn inspiration from the principles of neoclassical artistic and cultural movements. Architectural elements such as vaults and arches create a unique space.

Located in a 19th-century building that once belonged to the family of diplomat and renowned Portuguese writer, Eça de Queiróz, Palacete Valdemouro offers themed rooms.

Each room is inspired by the characters from the author’s most iconic works. The design mixing antiques with modern pieces.
