Blue Lagoon, a world-renowned geothermal spa in Iceland, has launched a ‘hypnotic’ new midnight floating experience, taking advantage of the country’s late summer sunsets.

Available for a limited time only, the treatment includes access to the Blue Lagoon and sound healing session led by Saraswati Om.

Guests can choose to upgrade their experience with a 30-minute group float therapy session, led by Unnur Valdis, founder of water relaxation company Flothetta.

The experience will feature sound healing sessions will be led by Saraswati Om

General entry to the midnight floating sessions includes access to the Blue Lagoon, complete with the sound healing therapy experience, a towel, complimentary tea and a drink of choice at the In-Water bar.

Additionally, Lava, the retreat’s fine-dining restaurant will be offering a three-course meal to complement the lagoon experience on the midnight floating dates.

“At Blue Lagoon Iceland, we’re always looking for ways to enhance the guest experience and we wanted to provide something special during one of the most magical times of the year,” said Blue Lagoon chief communications officer Helga Árnadóttir

“We pride ourselves on being a place of wellbeing for people, and what better way to release everyday stresses than with sound healing and floating under the Midnight Sun.  We would love to make this an annual event for the summer solstice at Blue Lagoon Iceland.”
