Luxury hospitality group Maybourne has announced that its French hotel, Maybourne Riviera, will reopen in June with a new Surrenne longevity wellbeing club.

Surrenne Riviera will be the second global location for Maybourne’s wellness and longevity brand, which debuted in London’s Belgravia at the Emory in 2024.

The wellness centre will offer longevity stays and retreats alongside expert-led movement practices and a small number of seasonal membership places.

The concept will mirror its London counterpart, focusing on the integration of cutting-edge, advanced science with ancient traditions, all fused in highly personalised treatments and therapies.

Inside Surrenne Riviera

Inspired by the origins of spa and healing through water, Surrenne Riviera will have an infinity pool suspended between the sky and sea.

There will be a sauna, steam room and cold plunge for curated contrast therapy journeys, as well as the treatment rooms offering Surrenne Signature treatments.

Signature treatments and rituals will be guided by the Surrenne Scientific Advisory Board and include an exclusive remodelling, lymphatic drainage massage. Bespoke advanced facials will be offered in partnership with Biologique Recherche.

Spread across three floors, Surrenne Riviera will offer recovery therapies including cold therapy, infrared therapy, osteopathy and red-light therapy.

Four dedicated studio spaces will focus on both physical and mental wellbeing. Group classes will include yoga, spinning, TRX and Pilates, designed in collaboration with Lagree Fitness.

As with its London site, Surrenne Riviera offers membership programme for a highly bespoke, holistic approach to emotional wellbeing and physical health.

Each floor has been designed by Michelle Wu to fuse contemporary elegance with transformative wellbeing, and is inspired by the Cote d’Azur.

Guests will follow the Surrenne methodology, which is founded on evidence-based protocols. It was co-created with experts in specialised fields and uses diagnostic technologies to create personalised programming.

The modernist Maybourne Riviera, located on the cliffs overlooking Roquebrune-Cap-Martin in France, has 65 rooms, including 24 suites.

Maybourne also owns legendary hotel Claridge’s, the Connaught, the Berkeley and the Emory in London, as well as the Maybourne Beverly Hills.
