Manor House Alsager expands its spa with new rustic spaces

Manor House Alsager has invested in two new rustic spaces for The Spa at the Manor House.

The Cheshire hotel has opened its new spa areas ahead of the winter season and they are accessible as part of a new Christmas spa package – Snowfall Slumber – created to encourage guests to unwind during the busy festive season.

The new Woodshed, built by the hotel’s in-house joiner and builder, is situated to the corner of the spa garden. It offers guests a covered retreat from the outdoor spa spaces, and includes an internal fire pit as well as comfortable seating.

Additionally, the spa has also opened a new relaxation area for guests. It includes three lounging beds, with curtains for privacy.

All guests who have treatments at the Spa at the Manor House are entitled to an hour in the private relaxation spaces to soak up the tranquillity before heading back to the main spa.

Lastly, Manor House Alsager has also opened three new treatment rooms, taking the spa’s total to six.

Treatments use products by Temple Spa and Tribe517.

Seasonal spa packages at the Manor House

The Snowfall Slumber package includes spa access for seven hours, a mocktail or hot chocolate and a 30-minute session in the Salt Shed Experience, a chamber infused with salt and essential oils.

Guests can then indulge in a seasonal afternoon tea and the 60-minute Snowfall Slumber Ritual.

This ritual has been created by artisan brand Tribe517. It includes a pressure-point foot massage, followed by a back massage and an hour of reflection in the relaxation lounges.

The hotel’s English Country Spa Garden opened last year following a 12-month redevelopment.

The 17th-century Manor House Hotel is an independent family-owned hotel in Alsager, east Cheshire.

The spa boasts  a serenity pool, a poolside indoor Finnish sauna and aromatherapy steam room. There is also a swim-up bar.
