Manor House Alsager opens first phase of ambitious spa development

The Manor House Alsager Hotel in Cheshire, UK, will unveil a new luxurious destination spa later this year, with the first phase of the development having opened earlier this month. 

Expected to complete in Q3 2022, the 2,000sqm spa will be led by manager Hannah Swain and will feature three new treatment rooms, including two couples’ suites, and new changing rooms as well as a spa dining area and relaxation spaces. 

It will offer treatments from British spa brands Tribe517 and Temple Spa, as well as indoor and outdoor wellness experiences including a new Salt Shed experience, with a Himalayan salt wall, lavender cauldron and ergonomic seating. 

Currently under construction is the spa’s signature English Spa Garden experience. Combining quintessential landscaping and country garden planting with modern wellness experiences, the garden will offer a panoramic sauna, a steam room, a spa pool and an open-air vitality pool, as well as heated outdoor sensory seating areas. 

The development’s first phase saw the opening of a 15m serenity swimming pool surrounded by a boardwalk, with glass ceiling and luxurious seating including sofas and a hanging day bed. 

Suppliers working on the project include Mosiac Spa, which has supplied two outdoor pools, and BC Softwear, which is supplying the spa’s robes, towels and flip-flops.
