Leading health and wellness education organisation The Power of Touch (tpot) is to host monthly live, online guided meditation sessions in order to bring expert instruction to as wide an audience as possible.

Open to all, the sessions aim to help those looking for additional ways to relax and relieve mental anxiety and stress, and tonight’s debut will be led by Tri-Dosha founder, Ayurvedic health coach and BBC radio presenter Sunita Passi.

“We wanted to find a way in which people could access some of our most highly acclaimed meditation instructors easily and at the same time help to raise awareness and money for some important charities.”

Michelle Hammond

Founder, tpot

The sessions will be free to join but tpot will be partnering with a different charity each month to bring greater awareness of the work being done, and is encouraging participants to provide donations wherever they are able.

The charity for March is Skcin – the Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Charity – which works toward the prevention and early detection of cancer. Like tpot itself, Skcin offers industry professionals MASCED accreditation to help them detect early signs of the disease in their line of duty.
